At University of Life, study is not kept apart from work. Residents learn by tending soil, making things, and meeting the needs of the village they live in.
Our education begins where daily life already is. Learning is self-designed and organic, led by residents through shared communal tasks rather than arranged into formal vocational modules.
Real-life activity is the medium: it is how we explore spiritual self-evolution, social entrepreneurship, and ecological awareness together, in the place where people already belong.
Areas of practice
Three rhythms of everyday work
Each area is practiced alongside others, in the ordinary rhythm of the community.
Stewardship
Ecological stewardship
Tending soil, water, and trees so that the land can sustain the people who depend on it.
Making
Hand skills
Masonry, repair, and tool making, learned by doing the work that a household or village needs.
Enterprise
Social entrepreneurship
Exploring how shared work can meet community needs fairly, with care for people and place.
